“There once lived a pharaoh who named himself Hor after the falcon gods. Hor was very proud of his witty clever intellect. In 25 years and at the cost of the lives of thousands of slaves he built a Pyramid of Doom, to which he invited all the monarchs of the world, to test themselves by making it out alive of the pyramid before starving to death. The monarch that makes it out alive will then be the ruler of all of Egypt.” Chef Nacho, head of the Carballo tribe, also heard of the challenge, brought his family together to participate in decoding the secrets of the Pyramid of Doom.
We had been absolutely sure that regardless of how long it will take to decode all the secrets to make out alive of the pyramid, we won’t starve to death thanks to Chef Nacho’s genius talent who is able to prepare magnificent dishes out of nothing. With this in mind we boldly began our journey into the unknown. 🙂
At first we were a little bit uncertain. We just traipsed aimlessly inside the pyramid, searching for any kind of clue about finding the way out. We knew that the key to success lies in finding the small details. Each sign, notice or any tiny little thing had a meaning, a relevancy. But where are those tiny little pieces of the puzzle, which we can put together in a logical way in order to arrive at the solution! It would have been good to pay more attention to ancient Egypt when we learnt about it in the school! J Any faint memory of it would be more than welcome…
We felt that the various tricky brain teasers have tested our patience and our skills as well. Then we started to work as a team and think together. After a while we could solve all the pieces of the puzzle and suddenly, to our greatest amazement, the sliding door opened. We were extremely happy. At first. Then less so. Because the door led into a smaller room with new mysteries and did not lead us to freedom. This is really a challenge! What if we can’t find all the mysterious signals, can’t conquer the Pyramid of Doom and get trapped in there forever? Then the ghost of the Pharaoh came to our relief and advised us: “Use your intelligence, be smarter than the builder of the pyramid! Use your common sense!” We divided the family into 2 smaller groups and switched to turbo speed in the interpretation of the signs in order to escape from this tricky place. Suddenly everything became clear and the hard teamwork paid off. Finally, all the small details made sense to us, the puzzle was solved. The last door clicked loudly, we made it out of the pyramid and the next moment we are happily talking about our tricky escape.
The team of Trap has flown us back to the ancient Egypt. Special thanks for the exciting teambuilding experience that we will never forget.
