Don’t deal with mediocre food, take the opportunity to cook something a bit outside your comfort zone and really wow your significant other. But you know what? - 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 3/4 cup pineapple, peeled and diced
- 3 tablespoon red onion, chopped
- 1 Serrano chili pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 500 grams of white fish fillet
How to prepare:
Cut the mangoes and the pineapples into cubes, and chop the onion and chili pepper into tiny pieces. Combine mangoes, pineapple, onion, chili pepper, orange juice and lemon juice in a bowl. Stir until combined. Then add cilantro and ¼ teaspoon salt and season with chili pepper. Mix it well and let stand for 20 minutes.
Preheat grill to high temperature. Season the fish fillet with salt and pepper. Place the fish fillet with tweezers on the hottest part of the grill and grill it for 5-7 minutes per each side. Top each fillet with mango salsa and serve with steamed rice, if desired. ¡Buen provecho!
